This Privacy Policy describes how Niseju Labs ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Badanckle mobile application ("the App").

Account data: your email address and username, provided at registration.
Location data: GPS coordinates recorded during your runs, used to track routes and determine territory conquests. Location is only collected while the app is actively recording a run.
Activity data: distance, pace, duration, and route of each run you record.
Social data: club memberships, league participation, and territory ownership associated with your account.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the core features of the App (run tracking, territory conquest, leagues, clubs).
To display your activity and rankings to other users within the App.
To authenticate your account securely.
To improve the App based on usage patterns.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes. Your data may be shared with:

Infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, database services) strictly for the purpose of operating the App.
Authentication services used to manage secure sign-in.

4. Data Visibility Within the App

Certain data is visible to other users of the App by design:

Your username, territories conquered, league rank, and club membership are publicly visible within the App.
Your email address is never displayed to other users.
Precise GPS route data is used to compute territory conquests but is not displayed to other users in raw form.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and run history will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Withdraw consent to location data collection at any time (this will disable run tracking).

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Children's Privacy

Badanckle is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
